The Centennial Concert Band program includes wind ensemble, symphonic band, and freshman band. 

~ Wind Ensemble – Our highest level ensemble that performs advanced high school to college level music

~ Symphonic Band – The intermediate ensemble that performs at a medium to advanced high school level

~ Freshman Band – Designed for most incoming freshman. Most music is at an entry to medium high school level

Jazz Band primarily meets once a week after school. We perform styles such as jazz, pop, swing, and other contemporary styles. Cougar Jazz consists of Trombones, Saxophones, Trumpets, and the Rhythm Section.

The Marching Cougars band is our most visible and frequently performing group. We perform at Friday night football games, numerous Saturday competitions throughout the fall, and regional parades. The competitive marching season runs from July through November, and membership is open to all wind, percussion, and color guard students.

The CHS Color Guard performs alongside the marching band at competitions and Friday night football games. They are the visual ensemble of the marching band, performing with flags, rifles, and sabres. 

At the conclusion of marching season, the color guard competes as the CHS Winter Guard. The winter guard performs at competitions separate from the band after the conclusion of marching band season. No prior experience is required — clinics are held each spring for incoming members.

Winter Percussion is a combination of drums and front ensemble equipment. The percussion competes separately from the band after the marching band season.
